First Stop- Germany

Well our first stop was Frankfurt, Germany and Greg's uncle Steve picked us up and let us stay at his house for 2 nights. This is Steve . . .

And this is his wife, Irmgard.
They live in Frankfurt and were so good to us. They fed us and entertained us. I was feeling kinda sick, though, so we mostly stayed in and just chatted the days away. The day we arrived was Greg's 25th birthday so Irmgard made him a cake.

Our last day they took us to a touristy spot that was lots of fun. The buildings were so different I kept thinking I was in Disneyland. This is us taking a ride up to a statue.

Down below was a vineyard and you could see the bunches of grapes on the vines. It was fun. It was great getting to know them better. They were really sweet and made sure we had everything we needed.

How sweet of them- was this the first time Greg had met them? or also when he came the other time? have they visited America to see Greg's family? That is so nice of them to make a cake!
