A Fun Weekend!

Well my Great Grandma Grace passed away one week ago at the ripe age of 96 and my 2 older sisters flew in for the funeral (yea!). I was SO excited! Here are my personal high lites of the weekend:

Gracie. I just love Gracie. She is 2 years old. This is a picture of her right after the funeral. She was on my sister Amy's lap and before we knew it she had on all of our jewelry, including our wedding rings. It was just so cute.Gracie was so fun to watch Saturday night. We put on music and she danced and danced! She marched back and forth across the room over and over singing Hannah Montana songs while waving her arm with one finger pointing up. It was so adorable. She got so into it and knew all the words. I was impressed.

The most fun I had with my sibling was playing games. Saturday night was Imaginif. Rebecca, Gracie, Lizzie, Mike, Amy, Greg and I were all there. It's a game where you have to guess what everyone else is thinking about the most random questions and it was pretty hilarious. Lots of fun. Sunday we all went to Jake and Lyndsey's and played Cranium. We ended early and I was sad because I didn't want it to end.

But the next morning . . .

We wake up to a phone call at 7:30am (that is really early in the world of Megan and Gregory). Greg picks up my phone and says, "It's Rebecca," and puts it back down. I say or think, "Rebecca should be on a plane right now," and tell him to give me the phone. We missed it. Well I call back to find Rebecca (poor thing) is still at the airport after missing her 5:30am flight.

SO I GOT 3 1/2 MORE HOURS!!!! YEA!!!!

(Ah, I wasn't going to put these in because I thought I looked so hideous! You just don't look your best when you haven't showered! But I decided I would just crop me out of the one below and it would be ok.)

I felt bad because I knew it wasn't on their agenda, but I was so glad to have more time with them! I just wasn't finished! So I picked them up in my pink pajamas and we came home and Rebecca made us all German pancakes! We sat around and talked. I played High School Musical on the piano and we all sang and it was so cute because Gracie knew the words and was singing along! It was so sweet! Then we went to Trader Joes to pick up some sweets for the airplane and off to the airport.
