Sick Again . . .

That's right, sick again. I can't believe I am sick yet again. This, coming from someone who NEVER gets sick, and is now sick TWICE in one season! I don't get it. I hope this isn't how it's gonna be from now on. Well, I've taken a WEEK off work! I just don't do that sort of thing, but I had to. Greg and I think I have what he had during Christmas- a nose drip. Meaning an impossible soar throat which can lead to a terrible ear ache- which it has. I am on the mend- but I still get light headed if I stand up for more than 5 minutes. At the beginning of the week I'd get light headed from just talking on the phone (while sitting on the couch!) I simply didn't know this could happen! This is all new for me. And as for my ear and throat- I had no idea one could experience so much pain there. No idea at all. I honestly thought I was going to die one night. Ha! It makes me laugh now, but it was not funny then. My ear has been constantly ringing for 4 days now. Again, didn't know THAT could happen, either. I keep thinking I'm going to be better the next day- so foolish. Greg has been very good to me and taking care of all the house chores while doing loads of homework. His family is in town this weekend.
Last weekend we went to the coast and had a fabulous time with some newer friends, the Aida's. I've been waiting to post until I get pictures. (I forgot our camera, but Kelly took lots of pics) So there will be an amazing post on the way.

Oh, sorry to hear you're sick again! And weird, icky sick, too, not JUST a cold or something -- I'm glad you're on the mend. It must just be make-up for not being sick hardly ever... ;)

Megan, Sorry to hear that you are sick once again. It happens sometimes I think our immune system is down or something. I can remember years when I didn't even have a cold. Then years when I caught everything that came my way. I will be praying for you to get well SOON. Love grandma

Yay, I'm so glad you posted. I was so happy when I heard your phone message today. I thought you were upset at me after last time we talked. Good to know you were just sick.

Soooo sorry you are sick! So am I and it sucks! I also have an ear infection. And my ear has been ringing off and on for about 4 days. And my throat! Maybe we have the same thing. I am sick of it. It's been 1 1/2 weeks now and I hope it goes away soon. It's great that Greg is so good to you. Love you both!

Well, I know how you feel. I never get sick either. I think it is the year. So don't think it's going to continue. I didn't get the ear infection, mine doesn't feel great, but not like yours or Lizzie's. I'm so sad for you, because I know how you feel. My throat is still sore and my glands are still swollen. I hope you get well soon! I love you!

Megan, I hope I didn't make you mad! I didn't mean to hurt your feeling with the story- I thought it was all funny. And I don't think anybody took it in a bad way- everyone thought it was funny- if anything- I was the rude one- asking you to buy me gifts, and making you buy me more- and telling you what I bought you- it's a funny story- I hope you looked at it that way- I don't want you to be embarrased! I'm sorry you're sick- I've been teh same way- but not earache or sore throat- just achey andyucky nose, and weak. I love you-

Oh Megan. That's awful. I had an inner and outer ear infection in each ear about a week after Gracie was born. I thought I was going to die. So painful. The new trend in pediatrics is to not give antibiotics for ear infections, because they will go away on their own. Good grief! I want to ask the pediatricians who think that "when was the last time you had an ear infection?" If the the antibiotics shorten the infection by one day it is worth it. So much pain! And a week off of work, bummer, especially when your self employed. I am presently in bed myself for the 5th day, no ear infection though. I hope you're taking lots of ibuprofen. I've been living on it--pathetic. I've missed 3 days of school. I love you. Bye.
