Oh sad that it's not titled, "Our Life." There's just not as much "our" to write about these days. The separation has finally gotten to me. I just don't like it anymore. I was going really strong for the first 2 months and it's like I crossed a line and now it just HARD. I don't know what else to say about that.
So we got a camera and I can finally show you are beautiful lawn. The beautiful lawn that once was. I really wanted to document the whole process but our camera broke right before we started. This is just in front of our sidewalk. Greg dug up this WHOLE THING along with the actual front yard and back yard. Then he put in sod with Paul, our cousin in law and everything looked so beautiful and now . . .
So this has been my latest big project. I always feel so depressed about how unaccomplished I am in the crafty department, but then I whip something like this out and I feel awesome about myself. We have this massive wall with nothing on it and so we decided to make a big collage of our Europe adventure. We bought a wooden board roughly 3 feet by 4 feet. I think it will fill the space nicely. I love looking at it, but it makes me want to TRAVEL!!!

This pregnancy thing is starting to get uncomfortable. I find that it's harder to get comfortable at night and I'm kept awake by my back aching. No fun! I know I still have it really good, but it's getting more difficult. Work seems to wear me out so much faster than anything else. I don't know if it's 'cause I'm just STANDING versus standing, but moving around to here and there, but I get so light headed while I'm hair styling. I don't like it. At home, I get this kicks wear I can just go go go, but I'm never standing in one spot when I feel that way.
I finally told Sandy (the salon owner) that I'm not coming back. So now I don't have to fib anymore when my clients ask how much time I'm taking off. Phew! That made me so uncomfortable. I'm just not ok with lying, in any way, shape or form. I got really nervous but it went really smooth and I don't think she was upset with me. I'll finish out six more weeks and be FINISHED!!!! YEA!!!! It's a familiar feeling, compared to the last time I thought I was finished. In Eugene, I was so burnt out and excstatic to be finished. I didn't expect to be coming back this time around, it just sort of ended up working out that way. Even though it hasn't been the most positive experience, it has really humbled me and I've definitely learned throughout the experience. I never had to struggle in this business before, and that's all I've really been doing these 6 months. Before this experience, I would have passed judgement more quickly and I definitely can't say I feel the same way about certain things anymore.
I want to meet our daughter so much. I keep reading how mothers get sad when they can't feel the baby inside anymore. To me, meeting her sound so much cooler and more fulfilling than feeling a little movement here and there. Having her here, looking in my eyes sounds so much better! I feel close to her, but I want to know her FOR REAL. In person. This last week was really hard for me and I felt really sad and lonely. I'd be laying on the couch, missing Greg, feeling really horrible and then I'd feel a little punch and it was like she was hitting me with her arm saying, "Hey, I'm here. We're together. You're not alone." And it really made me feel a lot better.

hey you, haven't been to your blog in a while. :) I don't really have time to read so much! :)
One thing, your lawn (deadish parts) will come back in the fall/winter. Everywhere in CP the lawns are like that. :)
Second thing - way cool collage! :)
Last thing - was trying to invite you guys to John's bday party, sunday the 1st at 5pm. If you're interested, I invited all the Jentzsch's and my family. I forgot your email address. hah.later hon.
Oh my goodness...I loooove hearing about your feelings with your DAUGHTER- how cool. You have a daughter. She is inside you already comforting you when you need it! I love it! I love her already:) I agree- it seems like having a baby in real life would be way cooler than having them inside the body!
I LOVE YOUR COLLAGE! That is soooooooooooo cool. And SUCH a good idea! It really makes me want to do that for our dining area. It's like the perfect wall for that:) It seriously looks awesome. I can't wait to see it up on your wall sometime.
Sorry you're so uncomfortable and aching. That SUCKS.
I love you and can't wait to see you in a couple weeks!
Sorry bout the grass.
Ok, so my boss kept moving their trip to Medford. It is finally set that I will be there August 10-13. Would you still be interested in getting together? I would love to see you. If not, thats ok too. I don't have your e-mail written down anymore but mine is smiley2686@hotmail.com and my phone # is (208) 407-5015. By the way Mushrooms grow in lawns when the grass is too wet. Awesome collage!
ohhhhh that was so sweet. when she kicked you when you felt alone. The grass looks great besides teh patches, that's too bad, but the grassyt part looks great. I LOVE your collage! it looks so GREAT!!!!!!1 I love it. I love the size- I love BIG things. love you!
I can't imagine going through being pregnant without Blayne, especially this time around when I had Ava already and I was more sick, I couldn't do ANYTHING for a while. I feel SO bad that you don't have your hubby! Hey, if you're having a hard time sleeping- GET A BODY PILLOW!!! They are WONDERFUL! You still won't be as comfortable as when you're not pregnant, but it helps a ton. Sure, it's cool feeling the baby kick, but I would WAY rather hold tiny babies, they're SO sweet!!
Your grass should grow back. Sod will go into shock when it is first planted and then come back. We planted a little sod this year in the backyard and the same thing happened to part of it. Mindy is also right about the mushrooms. It must be too wet in that spot. The last 2 weeks of pregnancy I slept on the couch because I was so uncomfortable and experienced heartburn. That might help. Do you tuck pillows under your belly or back because that may help too. I love that your daughter reminds you that you are not alone. I am one of those that misses the kicks and the doctor appointments...but i equally love the little guy that I see now. Both sides of the experience are equally rewarding.
Don't worry about the lawn. There is probably one out of ten lawns that don't look like that a lot. Ours sure did for a while and you should see my uncles. I love the collage. I think it is so cool! I want to make one for the Leslie family reunion we just had and the Arnold family reunion we are going to have. And that is so sweet. Have you thought of any names yet? I am not trying to rush you into anything. It is probably annoying everyone asking, "Have you figured out a name yet? If I had a daughter I would name her..." So forget it. I love you! :)
Darn private blogs, I always get behind!! ;)
You look SO cute! The weight thing... eh. It's different for everyone, and you obviously are not putting it anywhere it shouldn't be! Your collage is wonderful! What a great idea for that chunk of wall. I'm sorry that you're missing Greg so much. I would have hated being alone during my pregnancies, too. But I think it's so neat how your little one was able to comfort you. And I second the body pillow rec. So helpful.
Oh, Megan, I wish I could be there to hang out with you. I hate pregnancy and I think you've done awesome not complaining. She'll be here soon and then you'll never, ever, ever, be alone again....
I love you so very much Megan and you are such a brave girl. You have done so well with all of this and it is understandable that you are getting tired of it all. You have been alone most of this pregnancy, except for that sweet baby and your Savior. Hang in there it won't be long now and Greg will be home and that little one will be here and you will forget about all of these lonely days. I wish I could hang out with you for awhile, to watch old movies and things. I love you hugs and kisses
