Cute little Marius. We all love him so much! He was watched by his first sitter today. It was hard and I suspect he cried the whole 2.5 hours, minus a 50 minute nap (which was way too short!!!). He wasn't crying when we came home, but I looked at him, while taking my shoes off and he just looked so sad and his eyes were misty like he'd been crying. It made me sad. But it's ok. I'm getting better at this leaving-kids-with-a-sitter thing. Now let's cross our fingers that she'll stay with us! I think she was a little overwhelmed too!

This is what Marius looks like all the time. Just looking at something, and soft saggy cheeks.
He officially sleeps through the night now!!! Hoorah!!! He's been going 11 hours without nursing for weeks, but kept waking all night long. I think he's gone 6 days in a row now, only waking at 5am or 6am and we put his pacifier back in and he stays asleep until 7am. Amazing. It's the best. On his good days, he goes to sleep for the night at 8pm, but I'm pretty inconsistent about it.

The kids have been so NAUGHTY at NIGHT!!!!! Mostly Brighton- he just runs around and plays, instead of sleeping. We've decided to test the waters of "no more naps" to see if it helps. The one day we did it, he went down like a dream. But to be rid of Brighton naps is TERRIBLE. I say that, but honestly, this is the second day we've done it and I swear the kids have played soooooo much more and watched so much LESS tv. They've been terribly sick (especially Brighton) 4 of the 5 weeks we've been here. I don't even think they were well a full week. I think it was just 4 or 5 days. I was starting to despair that life would be horrible forever and they woke up little angels today. Hope  renewed. It's hard to keep hold on the reins when your kids are sick. You're constantly giving in, because they don't feel well and you do that straight for 4 weeks, it makes it hard to get out of the rut.

Greg's been getting out his guitar a lot lately. The kids always love it, even when they're babies. Marius just sat and listened for probably 20 minutes straight. He probably would've longer, but I picked him up.

I love this picture. This is such a Greg face when he sings with his guitar. I love when there's music in the home. Greg and I love playing out instruments and the kids dance around. We bought the Frozen piano book for Christmas and I can't wait to have the kids sing. It will be the best! Now I just need to remember to practice when they're asleep!

Our life would be so much less exciting if Greg wasn't in it. Who sets up a zip line in their yard? We do! Greg- he just makes our life fun and we all love him so much!!!

I'm so glad we bought all this stuff. Greg had been wanting it for MONTHS if not years and I thought it would be such a waste of money, but we have used it SO MUCH and we love it so much I just know we'll use it the rest of our lives- unless we get bored of it. But that's unlikely. At least for awhile.

Wow...11 hours! Thats awesome! Asher just did his first night of 9 hours between feeds! BOOYAH! And he didnt even wake up. What a dream.

Marius is SO CUTE! As well as the other two. Such cuties. SO sad that they are sick.

That is so fun you got the frozen book! You'll have to tell me if you like it cause that sounds so fun! I don't even have kids to do it with yet and I still want it :) haha.

You make me want to get out the guitar and see if Asher likes it!

Miss you! Love you!

The kids are so cute! Marius is getting so big. I really wish I had practiced the piano more when I was younger. I wish I could play now. Oh, how foolish I was when my lessons were paid by my parents :) I think it's great that you guys are so musical.

I think the zipline is amazing. I hope Chris gets the gear for that because Ari loved it. It was such a hit this summer.
