A Good Idea . . .

So I'm super pumped about something and I wanted to share. So I went to Enrichment last week and it was all about Humanitarian Service and at the end of it there was a table full of patterns to make fabric balls, stuffed animals (bunnies, bears), and other toys. So I grabbed some and started making a ball with some left over fabric. I later went online to see other patterns and there were TONS!!! Since all my sisters and mother are seamstresses I had to pass along the info. I couldn't believe how EASY this was. It doesn't take very much time because some of the items are VERY small. There is a priority list and I guess baby quilts are at the top. But I'm making toys and those are small and fast. It's an easy way to use up scraps, whether to make the item or use the scraps to stuff. Another burden lifted is I thought I'd have to pay shipping, but if we just take them to the Bishop's Storehouse they'll ship it with other things. Couldn't get easier than that. Anyway, I hope you're all inspired.
