Our next stop was Disneyland, and I must say- I was the most excited for this. If someone is depressed they should just visit Disneyland. It pushes out all unhappiness. Anyway. The first ride was the Tower of Terror. It's Ethan's and Pat's favorite. We rode that ride SO many times. I kinda played it cool at the beginning of the trip because I have MAJOR motion sickness issues. But the longer the trip went on, the less I was effected and ended up going on everything! It was a blast! I tell ya though, age doesn't go well with these rides. By the end I was yelling "ouch!" and thinking, "Oh my back!"
Talk about calorie burning. Never ending walking. I ate tons of crap and am pretty sure I lost around 5 pounds. There was also a serious heat wave happening. Lots of sweat, lots of exhaustion.
The water rides were especially welcoming!
I love this picture. This was Thunder Mountain.
It's a Small World. I looooved this one. It made me almost cry. I went on it 3 times. It was so sweet. It was so amazing at the end of the ride with all the different cultures together, all wearing white, all singing together, all as one. Sigh. I loved it.
Day 2- Notice the High School Musical shirt. There was a HSM3 performance and at the end they grabbed people to dance with them. They grabbed a guy RIGHT in front of me!!! I thought they would just bring up kids. I was so jealous.
I was so glad Hillary came. I hadn't seen her in so long and it was great to be together.
Can you believe this turkey leg? Doesn't he almost look homeless? It was eye opening being around a 10 year old boy. They are DIRTY. I had no idea how dirty a kid could be. It's been a whole new revelation.
Oh, and this was the VERY best part. The water show! Oh! I wish I could see it every night. I felt like I was a six year old girl surrounded by princesses and magic. My mouth was dropped open the entire time. We saw it the first night and were blown away- but we were on the edge and the vision wasn't the best. So the second night we got our places and sat down and waited for 2 hours. That's how amazing it was. Amazing. That's just all I can say.
Day 3:
Oh man, traveling with the Jentzsches is so exhausting. Randy is so crazy. We didn't have any hotel reservations. We'd literally be eating dinner at a restaurant and Randy would have the laptop out- looking for a hotel for that very night. Just nuts. For out Disneyland stop we stayed at the Candy Cane Inn and LOVED it!!!! It was so cute and so clean.
