Alright, Alright

One of my sisters whined that I haven't posted, so here I am again. I've just gotten into the habit of only posting events. For whatever reason I don't like to ramble online, anymore. I feel like it's boring and I must feel self important or something to expect others to read my thoughts. I didn't feel this way before, and I don't about others. I don't know. The more time passes, the more I keep my thoughts to myself. Or to Greg, I suppose. He knows all my thoughts. I'm often surprised how much I DO tell him, sometimes. He'll mention it later and I'll go, "I told you that?"

So our life. Work seems to be picking up just a touch, lately. I really hope it's not random and actually keeps up. Greg and I gave talks at church on Sunday. It went well. I didn't even get nervous. I also played the piano for the congregational hymns. That used to make me nervous, but I totally messed up and didn't care. I don't know if it's the time in my life, or this little branch, but it's knocked the nervousness out of me, which is good. Because waking up and rushing to the bathroom 5+ times before speaking or playing a piece, is just not fun. That's how it has been my whole life, with no exaggeration. It was also that way before I'd call a boy for the first time (ya know, back in those single days). Greg spoke on enduring to the end and I spoke about scripture study, and my emphasis was about how practice makes perfect and how the more you read, the easier it gets, and to JUST KEEP AT IT!!! Hmmm . . . what else.

Greg has been looking at guns NONSTOP online. If he has the time, that's what he's doing. We wake up in the morning, and the first thing he does is grab the computer and begin the research again. Crazy man. He is hooked. It used to bug me, but now it just cracks me up.

If all goes to plan we should close on a house within a month. That is pretty dang exciting. Almost as exciting as this baby. Is that terrible to say it's completely equal to it? Does that make me a bad future Mom? I'm just THAT EXCITED to have a place to live again.

Well, my love just walked in and we're going to watch Chuck before we go to bed. We love that show. It's definitely "our show." Good night all!

no that doesn't make you awful that you are just as excited! You haven't met, touched, or seen your baby yet, so it's not as real yet or exciting. The house is real and you've seen it, and touched it, and been in it- so it's real! You're excited! Don't feel guilty! So I guess I already know everything- except for the the new gun obsession- ha- maybe for one of your birthday's greg will buy you a special "lady's gun" like grandpa did for grandma. love you- oh- and I think instead of the counting down thing that people do on their blogs you should do what you did already- continue to take pictures of yourself with an updated week count- I like that- love you.

It doesn't sound bad at all. That's great that you're not getting nervous for playing congregational hymns...I would probably shake MAD shakes if I did that. I'm glad you blogged. I don't think you're rambling at all! I love you!

Those pictures are so cute. And you are TINY. You should see what I look like at 16 weeks. HUGE. You are so so so skinny and this tiny little bump. Love the picture.

Rillz is obsessed with Chuck too. And the Greg/gun thing is funny. I know how you feel because Rillz breaths/thinks/researches motorcycle stuff all day long lately and all I do is say oh wow... very nice and then go on with my life. The house thing IS very exciting and much more tangable right now as in being able to see it and all that. Congrats on everything right now... theres a lot of new stuff in your life! And I love reading the rambling stuff.

Your house is your future HOME! It's totally great to be excited. It's where you will read little stories to your kids, make yummy food for your family, sing and dance and play with your kids. Watch movies with your hubby, talk about life with him and be a family. Homes are great things. Women I think get quite attached to them. I liked your blog, its good to hear peoples thoughts. I'm glad you talks went well, it sounds like a talk I would have given. I believe in small steps. I'm glad the piano thing is better. I am so glad you guys came this weekend! Love you!!!
